Raisi: I am sure that the process of expansion of relations between Iran and Turkmenistan will accelerate

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi congratulated Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Oraza in a telephone conversation on Tuesday afternoon.
According to ISNA, Raisi, speaking about the expansion of relations between Iran and Turkmenistan, expressed confidence that this process will accelerate.
“Thanks to your father’s measures during his presidency of Turkmenistan, interaction between Tehran and Ashgabat in various fields, including gas, transit and railway cooperation, has made good progress, and I am sure that this process will accelerate under your leadership in the coming years,” Raisi said.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov, congratulating his Iranian colleague and the people of the neighboring country on the holiday of Oraza, touched upon the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries: “Over the years that have passed since the establishment of relations between Tehran and Ashgabat, relations in all areas have been actively developing.”
“Turkmenistan is interested in making every effort to increase the level of bilateral cooperation, taking into account the existing diverse opportunities, and the activation of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation will certainly contribute to the achievement of this goal,” the Turkmen leader noted.
