Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister meets new Kazakh Ambassador


Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met on Monday with the new Kazakh ambassador to Ashgabat, Askar Tazhibaev.
The diplomats discussed the main directions of political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, the implementation of interstate agreements reached during the visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev to Turkmenistan in October 2021.
Issues related to the holding of the VI Caspian Summit in Turkmenistan this year, the organization of contacts at the highest level, both in the format of bilateral visits and in the framework of multilateral structures were also considered.
Askar Tazhibaev handed over a copy of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and assured that he would make every effort to further expand Turkmen-Kazakh relations.
