The President of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the products of entrepreneurs
On Wednesday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the exhibition of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which takes place in Ashgabat and reflects almost all areas of activity in the private sector of the country's economy.
The head of state came to personally get acquainted with the exposition of enterprises and organizations of the UIET, and this became a sign of close attention on the part of the top leadership to the successes and prospects of domestic business in solving the problems of national development. Visiting the exhibition, the president stopped at some stands, asked manufacturers about the products presented, the organizational side of the matter.
In particular, in the food sector, Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the environmental friendliness of food products and their competitiveness in foreign markets, innovative methods used in processing enterprises. The President also examined the stands of industrial companies, including those specializing in the electronic segment, paying attention to new types of goods and import substitution. The Turkmen leader also spoke with a well-known carpet weaver-entrepreneur in the country, who presents magnificent carpet products at the exhibition.
Concluding the familiarization with the exposition, the President of Turkmenistan said that the state would continue to support the economic and business initiative, creating conditions for the development of the business environment and stimulating the entrepreneurial activity of young people.
