The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is preparing a summit of the Turkmen, Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders. This was announced at a government meeting on Friday by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.

The trilateral meeting of the presidents was planned a long time ago but was postponed due to objective circumstances. A number of agreements are expected to be signed within the framework of the summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.

Turkmenistan is also preparing to host the 6th Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States and the 1st Inter-Parliamentary Forum "Central Asia - Russia".
