Rahmon invited Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit Tajikistan


President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the incumbent President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the successful holding of the elections and Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his election to the highest state post, wishing him good health and great success in responsible activities for the benefit of the further development and prosperity of the country.
In a telephone conversation on Tuesday, Rahmon noted that the people of Turkmenistan, under the leadership of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, have made significant progress in the socio-economic development of the country and strengthening its authority in the international arena. He highly appreciated the efforts of the Turkmen leader to strengthen and expand the creative interaction between the two countries.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue the confidential interstate dialogue on the entire spectrum of the bilateral and multilateral agenda.
Emomali Rahmon invited the elected president of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to pay an official visit to Tajikistan at a convenient time for him.
