Tokayev invited Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Kazakhstan on a state visit


Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with President-elect of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The head of state congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his victory in the presidential election and wished him great success in responsible state activities for the well-being and prosperity of Turkmenistan, the Akorda website says.
Following the spirit of centuries-old friendship, good neighborliness and mutual support between the peoples of the two countries, the interlocutors expressed their firm commitment to further strengthening the Kazakh-Turkmen strategic partnership.
The President of Kazakhstan expressed confidence in the continuity of the strategic course of the Turkmen leadership to build a strong and prosperous state.

During the telephone conversation, Tokayev also congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the successful conduct of the elections and the high level of electoral activity.
The leader of Kazakhstan especially noted the huge personal contribution of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to strengthening the bonds of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two fraternal countries.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that the rich political and life experience of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov would continue to be widely demanded in Turkmenistan and beyond.
