Negotiations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the OSCE representative and the OTS Secretary General
The head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, discussed preparations for the presidential elections in the country during a face-to-face meeting in Ashgabat with Chargé d'Affaires of the Ashgabat Center of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mr. R. Castberg, as well as in an online format with the General Secretary of the Organization of Turkic States, Mr. B. Amreev.
During the talks, the parties reviewed the current state and prospects of partnership between Turkmenistan and these authoritative international organizations.
An important place on the agenda was occupied by issues related to the upcoming presidential elections in Turkmenistan, including the forms of interaction in terms of sending an observer mission to participate in monitoring the electoral process-the most important campaign in the political life of the Turkmen people and state.
