The national equestrian games group Galkynysh to perform in Bahrain
The national equestrian games group Galkynysh of the State Association Turkmen Atlary will take part in the opening ceremony of the Bahrain Animal Production Show “Mara’ee 2019” to be held in Manama on April 9-13.
Turkmen jigits will perform national equestrian games to thousands of guests. These games conquered the heart of the honorary jury several times at international festivals. Beautiful Ahal-Teke horse Akhan, who demonstrated the best result rearing the 10-metre distance in 4.19 seconds and improved the previous result, would be the star participants of the show.
Since 2015, the Maraa’ee exhibition is held annually under the patronage of His Majesty King of Bahrain Hamad Ibn Isa Al Khalifa, who invited Galkynysh group during his recent state visit to Turkmenistan.
The main purpose of the exhibition is to familiarize the public with the national heritage of the peoples through demonstrations and contests, as well as the preservation of the richness of the animal world.
Founded in 2007, Galkynysh group promotes the rich culture of the Turkmen in the world, and famous Ahal-Teke horses are the pride of the nation. Having conquered the unlimited love of the people of Turkmenistan, the foreign public admired by the group also.
