The Turkmen delegation will quarantine after a trip to Beijing


Deputy Prime Minister Sapardurdy Toylyev will travel to Beijing as part of a Turkmen delegation that will take part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan has temporarily appointed the Minister of Health and Medical Industry Nurmuhammet Amannepesov as the Chairman of the Emergency Situations Commission for the Prevention of Diseases from 4 to 9 February.

The decision was announced by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on Friday. The President asked Toylyev what measures should be taken for the Turkmen delegation when she returns from the PRC.
The Deputy Prime Minister replied that quarantine is mandatory upon entry into the country in accordance with sanitary requirements. The maximum isolation period is 21 days and the minimum is three days.

Members of the delegation will have to undergo quarantine, Berdymukhamedov said. "We will have to quarantine for three days - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday," he said.
