Turkmen leader for peace and security in the region
In the current context, it is as important as ever to unite our efforts in ensuring security, cooperation, and constructive cooperation, said President Berdymukhamedov at the CA-India summit. In addition, solidarity and determination are needed in the joint fight against terrorism, radicalism and extremism organized crime.
The strategic goal of our states, the Turkmen leader stated, is to ensure long-term peace, security, and balance of interests. In order to achieve these goals, it is necessary to form a mechanism based on which the exchange of views on the most pressing issues of modernity and the possibility of their solution will take place.
The Turkmen leader also believes that the idea of a permanent dialogue on security advisers is capable of expanding political cooperation between the states of Central Asia and India.
President Berdimuhamedov also called on his colleagues to establish systematic co-operation in international organizations, and first of all, in the United Nations, citing the practice of holding regular inter-media meetings, which proved to be effective.
At the end of the summit, the participants noted the effectiveness of the meeting due to the achieved goal of establishing systematic contacts between foreign policy, economic and other structures, which guarantee peace and sustainable development.
