Areti Announced Bronze Sponsor of the OGT 2021 International Investment Forum
One of Turkmenistan's long-standing foreign partners in the oil and gas sector, ARETI International Group became the Bronze Sponsor of the Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan – 2021 International Investment Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.
ARETI International Group (before 2015 - ITERA) was established in 1992 by Russian businessman Igor Makarov. ARETI is mainly involved in investing to the oil and gas sectors (including natural gas, crude oil and other oil products, liquefied natural gas and petroleum gas), oil trading, engineering, power supply, real-estate development, manufacturing and deliveries of food products, etc.
Today, ARETI is composed of several dozens of subsidiaries and affiliated companies that are present in Turkmenistan, Switzerland, Russia, the CIS Countries and the Baltic States, the United States, Canada, Western Europe and Middle East.
In Turkmenistan, ARETI, headed by Igor Makarov, is engaged in export deliveries of Turkmen hydrocarbons to foreign markets and operates on Block 21 of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea under the Production Sharing Agreement.
The Forum aims at increasing the awareness of potential investors about new investment projects in the oil and gas industry and chemical gas utilization, optimization of oil and gas production at mature fields, as well as the development of offshore blocks in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
