Key state-owned enterprises of Turkmenistan increased production volumes


In January-March 2021, the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan recorded a significant increase in production at key enterprises in the public sector.
Thus, the divisions of the concern “Turkmenhimiya” for three months of this year increased production volumes by 46.2%. This indicator was achieved against the background of the start of a five-year program for development of chemical science and technology in the country. The goals of this document include development of the chemical industry and introduction of innovative developments of domestic scientists into production.
Compared to the same period last year, Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TKNPZ), increased production volumes by 18.2%. Now various installations are underway to deepen the processing of raw materials and expand the range of export products with high added value.
Recently, the company laid the groundwork for two new gas turbine power plants with a design capacity of 70 megawatts/hour. Their commissioning will provide energy for new facilities being built on the territory of the complex.
The Ministry of Textile Industry increased production volumes by 26.9% in January-March 2021. Thanks to the high-quality work of the enterprises of this institution, Turkmen people have access to clothes of the highest quality at unprecedentedly low prices. The textile products are sold in specialized outlets of the ministry, the main of which is Altyn Asyr shopping center in Ashgabat.
Production volumes at the facilities of the Ministry of Energy increased by 22%. The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production also demonstrates good growth indicators, whose enterprises increased their output by 18.5%.
