Messi has admitted in an interview with Argentine radio Radio 94.7 Club Octubre, per Marca that he misses having Ronaldo in La Liga.
“I miss Cristiano in Spain. It was nice to have him – although it was difficult to see him lift titles. It would have been nice to still have him here in Real Madrid," Messi said.
During the interview, he also was asked to name the five best footballers who are currently active by excluding himself.
“Excluding Ronaldo and me, at the moment, the best players in the world are Neymar, Mbappe, Suarez, and Hazard,” Messi told the radio station. By excluding himself and Ronaldo from his list, Messi simply implied that the both of them are still on a league of their own, far ahead of any other human being.
