The Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee was awarded the medal "25th Anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan"
On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Batyr Niyazliev presented the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev with the jubilee medal "25th Anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan", according to the official website of the CIS.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the active participation of the Turkmen side in the integration processes in the Commonwealth, and also exchanged views on the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the CIS.
At the end of December 2021, President Berdimuhamedov took participation in an informal meeting of the heads of the CIS member states in St. Petersburg.
Speaking at the summit, the Turkmen leader singled out the economic component as an important part of the integration processes in the CIS space, based on the compatibility of economic and structural parameters, the development of cooperation and partnerships, building production, technological, and logistics chains.
