Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the construction of the new administrative center of Akhal
On Tuesday, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the construction site of a new administrative center of the Akhal region, where he got acquainted with the progress of work and models of architectural complexes, individual buildings and structures under construction. Heads of responsible structures and contractors reported to the head of state.
In particular, Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov reported on the activities of representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country at this grandiose new building and at other important facilities, including the Tejen-Mary section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat autobahn.
The head of state was informed, among other things, about the plans to create a historical and cultural park in the new city, where the sights of Ahal will be reproduced on a reduced scale. The President suggested the idea to surround this tourist and recreational area with juniper plantings.
Here, Berdimuhamedov held a meeting on the construction of the administrative center of the Akhal region, the project of which provides for the construction of 336 objects at the first stage of implementation. Most of them are multi-storey residential buildings. For contracting companies, the state has introduced customs and other preferences, preferential loans.
The heads of the companies involved in this project told the President about the work done and the state of the facilities entrusted to them.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew the developers' attention to the priority of the environmental approach and compliance with environmental requirements.
At the same time, the President spoke about the need for a wide development of intelligent network and formation of a “smart” city based on them, which ensures a high-quality life for people.
