Berdimuhamedov ordered to allocate funds for horse breeding
The state association "Turkmen horses" will receive funds for the modernization of the horse breeding and breeding activities, as well as for the development of equestrian sports and the improvement of the social conditions of horse breeders.
Such a resolution was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who visited the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex near Ashgabat on Tuesday morning. The Turkmen leader decided to personally visit the foal born here in the first days of the new year.
The head of state was greeted by horse breeders and showed their new ward. As one of the trainers-educators of the Akhal-Teke horses said, the dun foal goes back to the pedigree of a horse named Pereng, one of the most prominent representatives of the breed.
Responding to the request of horse breeders to name the foal, the Turkmen leader gave him the name Zaman, which means Time, and, according to tradition, tied a symbolic amulet - aladzha around his neck. A video report about Berdimuhamedov's visit to the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex was shown in the evening newscast of Turkmen television.
