The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is studying the issue of financing the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAPP) and is considering the possibility of a loan for its construction of 500 million euros, according to the bank's website. Being an important link in the Southern Gas Corridor project, the TAPP can become part of the route of Turkmen gas to European countries through the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TAGP). The cost of the Trans-Adriatic pipeline is estimated at 4.5 billion euros. To date, the European Investment Bank, the EBRD and a number of other financial institutions have expressed interest in its financing.
