Deputy Prime Minister Charymurat Purchekov, who oversees industry in the government, announced this at a Cabinet meeting on Friday, reported the official Turkmen press.
Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) "Senagattehnologiyalary", which was created jointly with the individual enterprise "Algap" by a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, plans to start production.
At the moment, produced a trial batch of composite fittings from glass crumbs. Government regulatory agencies have already issued certificates confirming the high quality of new building materials and their compliance with safety standards.
OJSC plans to produce a wide range of products, as well as organize the production of composite reinforcement from basalt raw materials. It is also planned to obtain it from glass fiber produced with quartz sand. All raw materials will be local.
The new production will replace the use of 15 thousand tons of steel reinforcement per year, which is currently purchased in foreign countries.
