Berdimuhamedov himself will make the first contribution to the established Charitable Fund
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a Decree according to which a Charitable Fund was established to provide assistance to children in need of guardianship. In addition, the Charter, structure and staffing of the Fund were approved, and its location in Ashgabat was determined. Berdimuhamedov said that he intends to be the first to make a contribution from his earnings to this Charity Fund, and not only citizens of Turkmenistan, but also foreigners can do this. The Fund will be used to pay for children’s paid medical and educational services, provide them with opportunities for good rest, etc. Rejep Bazarov has been appointed Executive Director of the Charitable Fund for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship. Today, the Parliament of Turkmenistan adopted a Resolution “On naming the Charitable Fund for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov”. In addition, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan has opened accounts of the Charitable Fund for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship in national and foreign currency. Fund account numbers: national currency - 23205934110100100000000, US dollar - 23205840110100200000000, euro - 23205978110100300000000. Accounts are managed by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan (390101101).
