Group on Facilitating Trade and Investments within the framework of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission discusses plans for nearest feature


A Group on Facilitating Trade and Investments under the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission has considered a Draft Programme of Economic Cooperation within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. A session of the High-level Group on Facilitating Trade and Investments in the framework of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation was held on Thursday, March 25, in the format of a videoconference. The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Kerim Kurbanov, while the Russian side was led by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach, who was appointed to this position on March 17. The agenda included the review of the Draft Programme of Economic Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for the period of 2021-2023. The promotion of joint projects, the development of mutual trade and cooperation in the area of industry, energy, finances, including the partnership between the financial regulators and commercial banks, were among other issues discussed.
