Energy is among the key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and India
Energy was named among the key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and India at a bilateral meeting of Foreign Ministers Rashid Meredov and Subrahmaniyam Jaishankar in New Delhi on Sunday. The heads of the foreign affairs departments of the two countries exchanged views on topical issues of interstate interaction and regional cooperation, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
The report notes that the parties paid special attention to the energy sector of cooperation, discussing joint actions to implement the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India transnational gas pipeline project.
Meredov also noted the development of ties in education and science, medicine and healthcare, cultural-humanitarian dialogue.
