Turkmen companies are constructing thousands of buildings and structures throughout the country

Over 2,500 large industrial and social facilities are currently under construction in Turkmenistan. Their construction is being carried out within the framework of the Program for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025, which provides for the creation of new industrial capacities, and the Program for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population in the regions.
The contractors of most of these facilities are enterprises of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists of Turkmenistan. As Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov reported at a government meeting on Friday, the Ashgabat mayor's office and regional administrations, ministries by order of which objects are being constructed by the UIET companies, have drawn up a preliminary plan for commissioning new buildings in 2022.
Among the expected ones is the launch of the second section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat autobahn by the end of the next year. Its first section, from the capital to Tejen, was commissioned in October 2021.
The project, for which the state has allocated 2.3 billion US dollars, is being implemented by a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs - a closed joint-stock company “Turkmen Autobahn”. The full route of the 600-kilometer Ashgabat-Turkmenabat autobahn will be available by the end of 2023.
