The French business is aimed at more active dialogue with its Turkmen partners
Representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, various departments of the country and the Ashkhabad mayoralty took part in a video meeting with the management of the French Business Confederation “MEDEF International”. The great interest in the dialogue with Turkmen partners was shown also by 36 large French companies.
The business webinar was devoted to issues of expansion of trade and economic relations of the two countries. The French businessmen familiarized with large investment projects which are planned in Turkmenistan, and were invited to take part in their realization.
Representatives of Turkmenistan also held presentations of potentials of such spheres of national economy as town-planning and urbanization, agriculture, information technology and transport. Having exchanged opinions on interaction possibilities in these directions, participants of the webinar agreed to hold similar meetings on a regular basis for adjustment of effective information-communicative channels between Turkmen and French business communities.
The Movement of the Enterprises of France - MEDEF - is the private independent organization and the most significant representative of the French business, uniting 800 thousand enterprises of different specializations.
MEDEF International was created in 1989 for the purpose of stimulation of activity of the French enterprises abroad, adjustments of direct contacts to the governmental and private structures from every corner of the globe.
