UIET Chairman met the representative of economic diplomacy of Iran
The Iranian businessmen are interested in development of business ties with Turkmenistan and are ready for cooperation in technical, bio and nanotechnologies spheres.
Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of IRI Mahdi Safari stated in the course of negotiations with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev.
Safari mentioned possibilities of Iran in various economic, agricultural and commercial sectors, having underlined that Teheran is ready to impart its experience to Ashkhabad in various areas. Including, in technical sphere, nanotechnologies and biotechnologies.
Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Meredov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Safari discussed the most important areas of bilateral cooperation in spheres of energy, gas and electricity, transportation and transit, export of technical and engineering services, public health services and treatment.
The meeting took place on Friday, on the threshold of the session of ECO summit in Ashkhabad.
