Tourism, trade and transport are discussed at the forum "CIS-30"
In the Moscow world trade centre the international economic forum «CIS - 30 years» were summed up. Discussion in which course its leader, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Denis Trefilov, presented results of activity of the Commonwealth on the eve of 30-year-old anniversary became key event of the action.
At the beginning of his speech he thanked the gathered for participation in the forum, despite difficult epidemiological conditions. «Coronavirus could not prevent us to meet, let it be in the mixed format. For the past 30 years in economy of the CIS countries radically were restructured. During the period from 1996 to 2019 trade of the countries of the Commonwealth increased in the current prices by 2, 4 times or by 4, 6 % annually».
Trefilov noted that during a pandemic more than others spheres of trade, tourism and transport, suffered and incomes of electronic trade and processing industry, on the contrary, grew.
Within the limits of the exhibition variety of meetings of representatives of various spheres of the business directed to search of partners and adjustment of cooperation took place. More than 20 large companies from Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus and other countries estimated a new format of interaction and recognised that it can be effective for foreign trade activities development.
Spectators and participants of the action could attend four virtual thematic halls: foodstuff and drinks, textiles and footwear, technologies, manufacture and agriculture, and also a hall of the general category. In each of them visitors had a possibility to ask the questions to the representative of management of the exhibition.
Placing of contacts of the companies on the action site that saved the time of interested parties for transfer of visiting cards was one of the main features of the current meeting. Besides, now all participants of the forum have an access to mobile applications where it is possible to choose the country, branch and in one clique to receive contacts of the necessary company.
Summing up, representatives of business noted that it was possible not only to present to them the projects in free enough dialogue, but also to plan partners for interstate cooperation. Co-production and delivery of vaccines, a common market of hydrocarbons and tourism development on space of the CIS became the basic projects.
Awarding an anniversary medal of "30 years of the CIS» and a medal «Leader of business of the CIS» became the final action within the limits of the forum.
