Amendments have been made to the Law of Turkmenistan «On denationalization and privatisation of state property»


Objects of military and law enforcement bodies, state higher schools, scientific research institutes and centres of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan now can be privatised, if their work is not connected with the basic area of activity of the organisation.
The corresponding amendment has been introduced in the Law of Turkmenistan «On denationalization and privatisation of state property» and published in the official press.
The amendment to the law has been also made considering cases when the state object constructed at the expense of credit funds is privatised. In that case, funds go at once to repayment of the credit and its percentage and the rest is transferred to the special account of the State budget.
The amendment, concerning preparation for sale of objects of state property with use of digital documents, which will allow accelerating privatisation and denationalization process, has been also made.
