Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the production in the Babadaykhan textile complex
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who took part in the opening ceremony of a textile complex in Babadaykhan region, visited its production sites and got acquainted with the organization of work processes, conditions for the personnel.
The innovative enterprise will process 5 thousand tons of fine-staple cotton per year, producing 3.3 thousand tons of compact yarn, 20 million square meters of fabrics and 3.5 million pieces of garments.
The head of state visited the spinning, weaving, dyeing and sewing factories of the complex, equipped with Swiss and Japanese equipment, where advanced technologies ensure environmental friendliness of production and energy saving, as well as quality control of raw materials and products.
The President also talked with the employees of the complex about the labor and social conditions at the enterprise, where a canteen, a sports ground and other facilities have been built for the personnel. There is also a small hotel for business travelers and visiting professionals.
The Turkmen leader examined an exhibition organized on the territory of the complex and presenting a wide range of textile products manufactured in the country, including such national brands as Gala, Goza, Bedew, Bürgüt, Ýeňiş, etc.
During his acquaintance with the exposition, Berdimuhamedov drew the attention of the relevant leaders to the opportunities available in the country for increasing the production of textiles and replacing imports in this area, the importance of digitalizing the industry and training qualified personnel for it.
In conclusion, the head of state presented the team of the new enterprise with vehicles.
