A wrestler from Turkmenistan took the gold of the “Nomadic Universe” in Riyadh
Athlete from Turkmenistan Annamurat Muradov won the gold medal in the the national Turkmen wrestling competition at the “Universe of Nomads” ethnic festival held these days in Saudi Arabia.
In addition, the asset bank of the national team has medals in traditional Korean wrestling and Kyrgyz wrestling on the alish belts.
"Universe of nomads" is held in the framework of the Camel Festival named after King Abdulaziz, whose goal is to develop the world ethnocultural, ethnosporting and scientific movement.
The festival promotes the preservation of the historical cultural heritage, the diversity of the peoples of the world, and the strengthening and further development of interreligious and intercultural dialogue, harmony and cooperation.
Athletes from about 80 countries participate in competitions in Riyadh and compete in archery, horse racing, national martial arts, including the Turkmen wrestling, one of the most popular traditional sports in Turkmenistan.
