Turkmenistan invited the Austrian companies to participation in gas and chemical projects


Turkmenistan is interested in attraction of Austrian companies to participation in realisation and financing of projects on building of new capacities for deep processing of natural gas.
It was stated by Chairman of Türkmenhimiýa State Concern Niyazly Niyazlyev who spoke at the meeting with the delegation of Austria, which arrived in Turkmenistan under the leadership of Minister of Foreign Affairs Michael Linhart on Tuesday.

The head of the State Concern underlined that within the long-term government programs in Turkmenistan realisation of variety of perspective projects on building of new capacities on processing of blue fuel, manufacture of nitric and phosphoric fertilizers, iodide-bromine production, caustic soda and chlorine, complex development of hydro-mineral resources of the gulf of Garabogaz is envisaged.
Besides, Turkmenistan possesses an impressive export potential, Niyazlyev added. The country is capable to deliver to Austria the high-quality chemical production made at enterprises of Türkmenhimiýa SC, including polyethylene and polypropylene, non-polluting gasoline from natural gas of mark ECO-93, the granulated urea, chloride potassium, technical iodine and carbon.
The open investment policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan, in turn, gives foreign investors ample opportunities for development of favourable partner relations, Niyazlyev underlined.
Since 2010 for development of the chemical branch of Turkmenistan about 8,4 billion US dollars were directed. The total volume of capacities only for manufacture of mineral fertilizers for this time increased more than 3 times.
Over the last ten years in Turkmenistan the Garlyk potash mining complex and other objects for manufacture of polymers in Kiyanly, a factory on manufacture of gasoline of natural gas in Akhal region, new modern ammonium and urea complexes in Mary and Garabogaz cities were constructed.
