Afghanistan stated its readiness to provide security of joint projects with Turkmenistan


The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Rashid Meredov carried on negotiations with the top management of Afghanistan, Deputy Spokesman of the Afghani government Bilal Karimi writes today on Twitter.
At negotiations, which were held in the presidential palace of Kabul, the Afghani party stated its readiness to continue realisation of joint projects with Turkmenistan, and also to use the best efforts for security of the infrastructure under construction.

Within the limits of the meeting, they discussed further cooperation in the economic and trading sphere. As Karimi writes, the Turkmen party noted its readiness to continue to render the humanitarian aid to the Afghani people in the present difficult situation.
During the meeting, the great attention was given to issues of acceleration of realisation of the project of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI), buildings of the branch line of Turgundi-Herat and transmission line from Turkmenistan to the city of Herat.
