President of Turkmenistan awards the honorary title to 245 mothers-heroines

President Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree, under which two hundred and forty-five women of Turkmenistan, who gave birth to and raised eight or more children, were awarded with the honorary title “Ene mähri” (Mother's tenderness). Among those awarded, most are housewives, for obvious reasons. There are also many female, who work for various enterprises and institutions, including medical and educational institutions, which is reasonable. Of course, there are also carpet weavers, as this handicraft considered by Turkmen as a female-oriented and it is widespread today. Women who are engaged in agricultural works are also among those awarded. Besides, there are female, who represent such non-ordinary professions among women, especially those with many children, as “dam regulator”, “postperson”, “main tenant-shepherd of sheep of a livestock farm”. Although it is no wonder – for women who gave birth to and raised eight children, there is no such thing that she would not be able to deal with.
