Berdimuhamedov noted the role of the forum «Oil and gas of Turkmenistan» in development of the sector
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent his salutatory message to participants of the XXVI international conference «Oil and gas of Turkmenistan» in which he noted a great value of this forum to bring the industrial potential of the energy sector to the international level.
«In days of independence the oil and gas industry became one of the priority directions of economic development of the country. Positive results give the works carried out within the limits of energy strategy of the state with a view of use of hydrocarbon resources of the country in interests of Turkmen nationals and the people of other countries», - as is told in the message of the head of the state.
As a big exporter of energy resources, Turkmenistan supports creation of stable international systems of their transportation, diversification of routes of deliveries abroad, formation of multivector pipeline system, Berdimuhamedov underlined.
In this context, the project of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India that will give a powerful impulse to sustainable development and strengthening of peace in the region was also mentioned.
Ashkhabad for the 26th time convokes the international forum «Oil and gas of Turkmenistan», who has become the open area for discussion of leading players of the market and reflecting actual trends, issues and problems of the sector branch of global level on its agenda.
On Wednesday, October 27, the forum opens in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and will be held in the hybrid format. On the first day key speakers, including head of "Türkmengaz", the secretary general of Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), president of CNPC, chairman of the Global Gas Centre, high rank representatives of some other international organisations will act.
Within the limits of the action, the signing of documents on cooperation is expected.
