Musical projects for children: Walt Disney and Charlie Chaplin in Ashgabat

During the spring school holidays, the State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rasul Klychev will present a special project for children - a concert to be held on March 30th in the Ashgabat Cultural and Business Center of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan.
The evening will feature compositions from the classic Walt Disney cartoon film "Fantasies", which once won an Oscar film award. For example, several musical fragments from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballet “The Nutcracker”, the Second Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by Dmitry Shostakovich, “Rhapsody in Blues Style” and others will be performed.
"Fantasy" includes 9 plot independent rooms, the main characters of which are Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and others. This is another opportunity to watch Disney cartoons on the big screen and enjoy music at the same time.
On March 31, viewers will be able to watch the silent film “The Kid” with the famous Charlie Chaplin in the lead role, the music for which will be performed by the Youth Chamber Orchestra conducted by Rasul Klychev.
“The Kid” is Charlie Chaplin’s full-length directorial work. Starting his creation, he said: “I want to create a serious film that, under comic and humorous episodes, would hide irony and satire and evoke a feeling of compassion.” And Charlie succeeded in this. The touching story about the young man and the Vagabond was so loved by the audience that it became famous all over the world.
