An organizing committee will be created in Turkmenistan to participate in the 2025 World Expo in Japan


Turkmenistan begins preparations for the 2025 World Expo. For this, an appropriate national organizing committee will be created and an official representative of the country, responsible for coordinating with the organizing committee of EXPO 2025 in Japan, will be determined.
Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov voiced proposals on this issue at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday.
EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai will be held on the Yumeshima Bulk Island in Osaka Bay from April 13 to October 13 under the motto "Creating a Future Society for Our Lives."

In the meantime, Turkmenistan is successfully demonstrating its capabilities at the World Exhibition in Dubai from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
Meanwhile, countries are already applying to the Bureau of International Exhibitions to host the 2030 World Expo. Russia was the first to present its candidacy, proposing to hold EXPO 2030 in Moscow. Applications for hosting EXPO 2030 were also submitted by South Korea and Italy, and last week - Ukraine, nominating Odessa. Acceptance of applications will be closed on October 29.
