UIET took part in the VIII Turkmen-Russian economic forum


The VIII Turkmen-Russian economic forum «New challenges and opportunities for expansion of cooperation» was held on Wednesday, October 20 on the Zoom platform.
The agenda of the regular joint action of commercial and industrial chambers of Russia and Turkmenistan included concrete issues of industrial cooperation, expansion of export and investment potential of enterprises and companies of two countries, cooperation in spheres of building manufacture, processing branches of agrarian and industrial complex, digital technologies and logistics.
As moderators of the forum chairman of CCIT Dovletgeldi Rejepov and vice-president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Padalko acted. Among speakers of the Turkmen party, there were experts of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen. The proposals on development of business interaction representatives of management of the Russian Export Centre, joint-stock company «Russian Railway Logistics», Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Astrakhan region, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of St.-Petersburg and others sounded.
During the meeting, the state-of-the-art review of investment projects and prospect of economic interaction of two countries in new conditions was made. Logistical possibilities of Turkmenistan for deliveries of the Iranian goods to Russia, introduction of digital technologies in regulation of export-import transactions, export of Turkmen textile production to the Russian Federation were also considered. A wide range of issues was discussed on partnership relations between enterprise circles, including in the field of manufacture of building materials and housing construction. At the end of the forum, bilateral documents on cooperation were signed.
