"Star of the Year - 2017" selected among young singers in Turkmenistan

The last stage of the song competition "Star of the Year - 2017" finished in Ashgabat, determining the winners by the national SMS voting. The holder of the title "Star of the Year" is the popular Turkmen singer Ahmet Atajanov, known to many for inspirational songs dedicated to sports and the 5th Asian Games held in the capital in September this year. In addition to the Grand Prix in the competition there are three more winners. Nine years in a row, the "Star of the Year" contest captures the attention of Turkmenistan's viewers and radio listeners, and each time one of the brightest young performers of the country is determined.
