Federation of Turkmenistan on Sport Dance has presented a report concert
On March 10, a report concert on sport ballroom dances was held in Ashgabat. The concert was featured with colorful and stirring performances “Cha-cha-cha”, “Jive”, “Posadobl” and “Waltz” of such dance groups as “Mechta”, “Akvarel”, “Surprise” and “Art-motions” as well as with variety of other choreographic styles.
The “Akvarel’’ group, under the direction of Christina Khristoforidi, stood out against a background of others in particular, as one of the performances was performed by children with disabilities, who impressed with their charisma. It once again proves that there is no limit if somebody has desire and perseverance to dance.
“The main goal was to demonstrate our abilities to the viewer and we succeeded. There were nothing about saying that we waste time, the hopes of our group heads’ were justified, and we are very happy about it,” one of the participants of the concert said.
In her speech, the representative of the Federation on Sport Dance, Fiza Ayvazova, said that we live in times of great opportunities and the main activity of the Federation today should be focused on fostering love for healthy and sport lifestyle in youth. Today’s concert has once again proved that sport dance has a future. After all, it is a unique form of art and sports, which helps to share emotions and to show the beauty of plastic art.
The Federation of Turkmenistan on Sport Dance was established in 2014. In 2016, when the preparation for the Ashgabat Asian Games entered the active phase, Fiza Ayvazova, the senior coach on rhythmic gymnastics, headed it. In 2017, a pair of Alexandr Sisekin and Valeriya Nepomnyashchaya represented Turkmenistan at the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and took third place.
Today, Alexandr Sisekin is the head coach of the Federation is. At the end of the colorful presentation, he expressed gratitude to all those in the hall for their support and congratulated all women on Women’s Day March 8.
