Turkmen logisticians actively cooperate with representatives of the global transport sector

The creation of a modern, integrated, balanced and high-tech transport infrastructure is one of the priority goals of sustainable development. Being in the center of the Silk Road, Turkmenistan is an important economic link between east and west. Taking into account the development of foreign trade relations, the Turkmen Logistics Association extends its experience and continuously works, establishing foreign economic activities and opening to major international organizations. So, on February 10, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Turkmen Logistics and Freight Forwarders of Georgia Associations on further mutually beneficial partnership. Following the talks, the parties signed a Memorandum of Bilateral Cooperation. Later, the Turkmen Logistics Association held a video conference with representatives of the Association of Freight Forwarders and Logistics Service Providers of Turkey (UTIKAD), where they considered the formation and development of logistics infrastructure between the two countries. During the meeting, the logisticians having discussed important and priority issues on establishing new business relations at various international platforms and ways to implement them, and signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation. In light of these events, another online conference was recently held  with the participation of representatives of the Association, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, where the parties discussed the capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
