Inveterate fans not to hasten anywhere and moderate optimists should know that on February 26 for a long time already is known in the world, as International Day of Slowness (Day of Slowness). For some it can appear ideal possibility to stop and rethink the course of life, having started to demand from life something more.
International Day of Slowness originates in sunny Italy where people are able to live beautifully, after all not without reason the country is called «Bell Pease» («the Beautiful Country»). In 2007 Italians reflected on where technical progress and constant employment, forming monotonous vital vanity which we got used to name the ordinary conducts all of us. Because of the ordinary we lose something important - ability to behold beauty and to see small pleasures of life. Therefore, one Italian association «Art of living slowly» has started to change the world under the slogan «do not hurry up and take pleasure in the moment! ». 14th precepts and the minimum efforts initiators managed to be informed the idea to broad masses, and already now this day is marked in 90 countries of the world, among which USA, Great Britain and France.
Below are three most interesting, in our opinion, precepts: «Life should be lived, instead of planning», «Do not walk on purpose - so you endow walk» and «Feel taste of what you eat».
As you have already understood, such spirit can positively affect spiritual stability of the person, after all at some instant it happens very useful to look back around and to rethink personal outlooks on life, to get out of tenacious paws of the ordinary. Thus everyone can give 10 minutes to favourite business a few to stretch reading of the book or to finish week-day cinema viewing in the family circle - all depends on individual preferences.
Let's pass February 26 positively, slowly and with taste!
