Turkmenistan has increased export of electric power more than by third

Export of Turkmen electric power for January-September, 2021 grew by 34, 5 % as compared with the similar period of the past year. The information on it was mentioned during the meeting of the Cabinet, which took place on Friday.

Electric power manufacture in Turkmenistan for the specified period increased by 11, 6 %.

This year Turkmenistan has started to export electric power to Kyrgyzstan. From August to December to the neighbouring country, it is planned to deliver 501, 9 million kilowatt-hours of electric power.

Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov reached the agreement on deliveries during negotiations of President of Turkmenistan with head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov in June.
