Non-hydrocarbon export of Turkmenistan has grown almost by half for a year
The growth of gross national product of Turkmenistan for January-September, 2021 was fixed at level of 6,2%, the country foreign trade turnover has increased by 12,3% and made up more than 9 billion US dollars. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov mentioned such data on Friday at the meeting of the government following the results of the past 9 months of the year.
Export deliveries of the country during this period have exceeded the similar level of last year by 20% and were expressed in the sum of about 6 billion US dollars. And without fuel and energy resources, export of Turkmenistan has grown almost by 50%, the president noted.
The head of the state also noted that from the beginning of the year 62 large objects, though it was planned to commission 30, were put into operation. Thus, a half-million square metres of housing provided. Besides residential areas, the medical centres, schools and other social objects were opened.
For today in the country building of 2,5 thousand large constructions for the sum as a whole 35 billion dollars, including in the fuel and energy sector, transport sector, social sphere is conducted. The building of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, power line and the fibre-optic communication line of regional value, realisation of other international projects proceeds.
