New British Ambassador to Turkmenistan appointed

Lucia Wilde has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, the website of the United Kingdom government reports.

It is also reported that the newly appointed ambassador will take office in November 2021, after the diplomatic mission of Her Majesty's current representative in the country, Hugh Stanley Philpott, ends.
