Turkmenistan to purchase from Uzbekistan equipment and chemicals for the agro-industrial complex


Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan will purchase Uzbek-made machine-tractor units and trailers for the agro-industrial complex through the “Uzsanoatexport” foreign trade company. The contract provides for deliveries during 2022-2023.
Also, the Turkmen Ministry of Agriculture will conclude a contract with the Uzbek producer of agricultural chemicals Ifoda Agro Kimyo Himoya for the purchase of crop protection products - wheat and cotton in 2022-2026.
At the same time, the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" agreed with the Uzbek chemical producers Navoiy Milling and Uzkimyoimpeks to purchase 512 thousand tons of ground phosphate rock and other products in 2022-2025.
These agreements were reached in September this year in Tashkent during a regular meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek commission for cooperation and were approved at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday, October 1.
