The President of Turkmenistan met the governor of St. Petersburg
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov on Sunday. The governor of the northern capital of Russia arrived in Ashgabat for participation in the celebration of 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
In the conversation with the guest, the President noted special significance, which Turkmenistan attaches to partnership with the Russian Federation and its regions, including St. Petersburg.
At the meeting, promotion of joint projects and bilateral agreements fixed in the "Road map" of cooperation in trade and economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian areas for 2020-2025 was considered.
On the same day, Alexander Beglov met Deputy Prime Ministers Rasheed Meredov and Serdar Berdimuhamedov for discussion of issues of interaction.
