ORIENT announces the launch of e-commerce platform advertising program
From September 22, applications for participation in the Buy Online Program to increase the demand for e-commerce in Turkmenistan are opened for Turkmen online stores and e-commerce platforms.
The program was organized jointly by the USAID project on development of entrepreneurship and business environment and the ORIENT news agency. The purpose of the program is to increase awareness and confidence of consumers in shopping on the internet through information materials and promotional events.
Online stores and marketplaces interested in increasing the demand for online purchases, as well as promoting their own e-commerce platforms, can register their applications by the link.
5 e-commerce platforms which will later participate in the Buy Online information program, will be selected of all the trading platforms that have submitted applications on a competitive basis.
This program is designed for five months, during which ORIENT will develop content on electronic commerce and publish on its website and on social networks. Internet users will get acquainted with dozens of news notes, articles and videos about the benefits of online shopping.
As part of this program, ORIENT will create and publish 7 news notes, 2 articles and 1 video for each participating in the e-commerce platform. ORIENT will also monitor web traffic, user comments and other important indicators for timely adjustment of the plan to inform Internet users about e-commerce.
50% of the costs of implementing the information campaign of these e-commerce platforms will be covered by the USAID Project. ORIENT will also not stand aside, and part of its services for implementation of this large-scale program will be provided free of charge.
The Buy Online information program starts in October this year and will last until February 2022.
