The grand opening of a new modern square "Lachin" ("Falcon") and underground passages along A. Niyazov Avenue and Kh.A. Yasavi Street took place in the Turkmen capital.

The new park area is located along the road to the Ashgabat International Airport and has become a wonderful gift for local residents on the threshold of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

The total area of the park is 10 hectares - 320 meters in length and 310 meters in width. A fountain in the shape of an Oguzkhan star has been erected in its central part. Also, swimming pools, sheds, picnic and recreation areas have been built here.

The green area has been decorated with bright elements of landscape design - shady trees and various flowers.

The underground passages with total area of 6 thousand 270 square meters, opened nearby, accommodate spacious shops and parking lots.
