The water transport is in the lead in growth of indicators on transportations of Turkmenistan
During the meeting of the government, CEO of the Transport and Communications Agency at the Cabinet of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakyev reported on results of eight-months’ work carried out in the complex he heads.
Workers of sea and river transport, with growth rate more than 141% achieved the highest rates. With the minimum lag from them are motor transport workers - 140%.
Further following the results of for January-August operators - 110,6% settled down. Also railroad workers - 107,3% close the list.
The plan for goods turnover was implemented by 105,2%, and for cargo transportation by all means of transport, - by 103,1%.
Very squeezed information was given on activity of "Turkmen airlines" - in the report is told that "the corresponding work was carried out" in this branch.
That is quite explainable as the air transport owing to the specifics appeared to the most subject difficulties connected with spread of coronavirus infection in the world.
