The Taliban announced its commitment to development of cooperation with Turkmenistan
The official representative of the Taliban Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the movement is committed to development of cooperation with Turkmenistan and positively estimates its role in strengthening of welfare of residents of Afghanistan.
On his Twitter account he wrote that, the Taliban emphasize the positive spirit of the Turkmen party in establishment of contacts with the new government in Afghanistan, participation in development of the Afghan economy, and also continuation of granting humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.
It should be noted that on September 8 Turkmenistan participated in the multilateral ministerial online meeting across Afghanistan. Officially, Ashgabat designated the positions on the current situation in this country at it.
As was stated at the conference, for Turkmenistan as neighbouring country, the issue of stability and safety in Afghanistan has direct influence and value from the political, economic and humanitarian points of view.
Noting importance of creation of new formats of partnership in Afghanistan, the Turkmen party emphasized need of establishment of the effective mechanisms of multilateral interaction directed to achievement of peace and civil consent in this country, safety and social stability, wellbeing of the Afghan people.
