The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan posted a press release on its website on Saturday as follows:
“A number of foreign media outlets have reported about the alleged detention of foreign citizens near the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kabul, who were found to have an explosive device.
In this regard, the Embassy informs that it does not have any information on the essence of the above. "
On Saturday, a number of foreign media outlets, citing a message from the Indian newspaper Hindustan Times on Twitter, published information that several Pakistani citizens were detained with an improvised explosive device in Kabul near the Turkmen embassy two days ago.
