Turkmenistan so far keeps unreachable for its closest rivals (Iran, Kazakhstan and the UAE) first position in the table of ranks. It is understandable, because from the very first days medals began to be played in disciplines, where Turkmenistan's strong positions are: goresh, wrestling on belts, and ju-jitsu. They brought a super-golden rain to the national team of the national team. In total 43 (!) medals, when the nearest opponent has only seven. It seemed like an overwhelming advantage, but, as already mentioned above, it is so "for now". Folk wisdom says, "the farther into the forest, the thicker the trees". It truly is so, but do not forget that the thicker the forest, the harder it is to get firewood. Later on, the arena will see representatives of those disciplines in which they feel like a fish in the water. Take, for example, sports dances, where the Turkmen national team is new. Track and field turned out to be not too easy for the Turkmen, and weightlifting turned out to be too hard. Not a single gold medal. But after all, the calculation of the unofficial team classification is conducted primarily on gold medals. In the case of their equal quantity - the silver awards are counted, and then the calculation is done for bronze. The rapidly developing cyber-sports, although it is not included in the official program of the Ashgabat Asiada, is still presented as a sports discipline accompanying the Games. And it is undividedly dominated by the Chinese cybersportsmen. Nevertheless, it is encouraging that the Turkmen youth has entered this slippery path. Our fighters - kick boxers, muay thai and taekwondo wrestlers - have proved themselves well in the international sports arena, but we must not forget that Kazakh and Kyrgyz fighters have grown very much in their skills, too. Not to mention the traditionally strong in this area masters of the Buddhist region of Asia - the Japanese, Chinese, Koreans and others. Of course, the safety margin in the medal standings of the Turkmen national team is more than sufficient. Gold medals, which have already been received, will not disappear. But for the others - their number will increase. Our women's futsal team does not show mature football - with such a game it is not possible to hope for a high place. The men's team looks better on the field, but their future rivals will, in case of reaching the next round, be stronger. Although the potential of the Turkmen leather ball magicians is still available. According to their game, it is felt that they still keep the main "trumps" in reserve... No matter the odds, we will believe in a bright future - they say "even walls help when you are home" for good reason.
